Giuseppe Amorello, the head Chef of La Bettola, counts with over 20 years of experience in the kitchen.
Originally from Trieste in the North of Italy, Giuseppe has always been very passionate about food and cooking. He studied close to his town, and went to work directly after he finished his cooking studies.
In his long cooking career took place in various part of Italy but he wanted to experience what it was like living and working overseas, and his job took him to kitchens in the US, Greece, Germany, China, and now Vietnam.
He always dreamt to open his own restaurant, and the dream came true when he opened La Bettola in May 2014.
La Bettola specialises in authentic original Italian food, using top ingredients, making most of them by himself, from fresh pasta to mozzarella, to Limoncello and more. La Bettola offers real Italian atmosphere in a modern setting in the heart of District 1.
The signature dish, la Bettola, gives the name to the restaurant: homemade roasted Porchetta with homemade mozzarella cheese and hot focaccia with rosemary, a real delicacy. Another of the guests' favourite dishes is the amazing Lasagna.
